Traveling to Costa Rica is a transformative choice that reveals how near a real adventure is. The colors, culture, creatures, and community of Costa Rica are a feast for the senses. Embarking on the literal journey of this retreat, in and of itself, creates an emotional foundation of alertness and openness, which are important physiological states when it comes to learning.
Though it is no longer rainy season in Costa Rica, we highly recommend you pack gear suited for rain, high-intensity Yoga practice, hiking, surfing, swimming. We recommend light, breathable clothing that is comfortable for conditions including sweating.
Conscious movement and breath is a cornerstone of the process. Each day we will begin the day with a Walking Meditation, Yoga and Breathwork Practices while the evenings will end with Song Circles, Yin Yoga, and Storytelling. Each afternoon will include an adventure immersing you in the culture and land of Costa Rica (i.e. Temezcal, Horseback Riding, Sound Healings, Waterfall Excursions, and a multitude of surprises).
All activities are optional and breaks throughout the day are ensured for solo time, rest, and restoration.
Ultimately, this Retreat requires a few key ingredients:
Openness
Resilience
Flexibility in mind, body, spirit
With that, we will all feel supported to be vulnerable, speak up, and share through Self-Inquiry and Group Dialogue.
